Don't get used to seeing Tyler in a Rangers uniform this season.
Tyler "the man, the legend" Arnason was waived by the New York Rangers on Saturday. If, sorry, when he clears waivers, he will play for the Rangers AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolfpack. The good news for Tyler is that it looks like his #39 is still available. Its mid Sept and Rangers fans are already talking about what an awful signing this was for NYR.

In actual Avalanche news, Ryan Stoa was been assigned to Lake Erie and Ryan O'Reilly is now under contract. I don't see any reason why the Avs would do this now if they didn't plan on Ryan playing in (at least) the first 9 games. Way to go Ryan, you've obviously impressed the right people.
